University of Surrey Uses Lengo to Engage Prospective MBA Students with Social Media Campaign

The University of Surrey in South East England is a public research university that specializes in science, engineering, medicine, and business. To promote its Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) program—and reach women in senior-level business roles who might be interested in enrolling—the university launched a weeklong social media campaign that coincided with International Women’s Day in March 2016.

The campaign, which appeared on Facebook and Twitter, featured real-life stories about women in the MBA program and promoted the university’s MBA Open Days. The campaign was designed to underscore the message that investing in an MBA could help women in business to grow their careers further. The university used Lengo to promote the campaign and specifically target women who held senior positions in business in the South of England.
